Welcome to ITPro South Africa, the first career connection in the South African Information and Communication Technology Industry.

ITPro is a web-based ICT career information center for scholars, students and IT professionals working in the industry. Resources include career guidance, skills assessments, mentorship from IT Professionals, access to an international community and most importantly, CompTIA’s Jobs+ Portal that is a direct link with corporates to find holiday work, experiential learning opportunities, and temporary as well as permanent employment. CompTIA members are in the process of developing South African career paths showing job titles and skills required for each job role. Each job role will eventually be mapped to the South African school curriculum, FET and Higher Education, short courses, international certifications and national standards registered on the NQF.

CompTIA’s aim is to guide individuals interested in an ICT career to make the correct subject choices at school level through to further/higher education, ensuring a better quality potential employee entering the industry and eliminating the chances of fly-by-night training providers operating in our industry.
